The archaeological work carried out during 2007-2008 and until 2015 has uncovered important archaeological remains and a sequence and superposition of settlements from Republican Roman times to the present.

Preventive extensive excavation was held. The remains were Euterpe's Theatre basis (20th c.), a steam factory (19th c.), a craft center with several kilns (18th c.) and a medieval water well (13th c.).
